Whitecaps Look to Rebound From Yesterday’s Loss

By: Finn Riley

Brewster, M.A. 一 The Brewster Whitecaps look to bounce back against the Harwich Mariners at Whitehouse Field, with the first pitch at 5:30 pm.

Heston Tole (Arkansas) gets the nod for his first start of the summer.

Tole has made one appearance for Brewster and pitched a clean inning against the Cotuit Kettleers. He will seek his first win of the season tonight against Harwich.

With last night’s loss, the Caps now sit at 11-9-5 and move to 1.5 games back of the first-place Y-D Red Sox.

On the other hand, the Mariners have been struggling as of late, going 2-3-5 over their last ten games.

Brewster looks for an overall better performance on both sides of the ball, as they allowed seven runs through the first five innings, and could only manage to scratch three runs across the plate.

Make sure to look out for Heston Tole (Arkansas) who will set the tone for the Whitecaps pitching, and keep an eye out for Alex Freeland (UCF) who accounted for two of Brewster’s three runs yesterday.
