Brewster, M.A. 一 The Whitecaps look to get back on track as they head to Fuller Field to take on the Falmouth Commodores, with the first pitch coming at 6:00 pm.
Zane Morehouse (Texas) gets the nod for his first start in a Whitecaps uniform.
Morehouse held a 3-1 record for the Longhorns and compiled 43 strikeouts over 39 innings of work.
In their first meeting with Falmouth, the Whitecaps lost 4-3 and happened to be inches away from victory if it weren’t for Andrew Pinckney making a diving play on a Ryan Lasko (Rutgers) line drive.
Since then, the Commodores have lost five of their last six games and currently sit in last in the West Division with a 5-11-1 record.
The Whitecaps currently hold a 9-8 record, and look to be just the third Cape league team to reach double-digit wins on the season.
Make sure to look out for Parks Harber (Georgia) who has been heating up offensively as he knocked in two of the four Whitecaps runs in the previous game.
Also, keep an eye out for Zane Morehouse (Texas) who will aim to kick off his Cape league career with a quality start.
