Brewster, M.A. – The Whitecaps will look to get back on track Saturday after losing two straight games. The Whitecaps will be at Chatham, with the first pitch coming a 7 pm.
The Whitecaps have now fallen to third place in the East Division and are looking to get a much-needed early-season win against the Anglers of Chatham.
Cade Keuhler (Campbell) will be on the mound for the Whitecaps. Kuehler will try and be as brilliant as he was on Father’s before he heads out to be with Team USA.
The Whitecaps offense has struggled, but with some additions such as; Davis Diaz (Vanderbilt), Javier Vaz (Vanderbilt), and David Mendham (Oklahoma State). The Whitecaps will look to get the much-needed run support.
A couple of players to watch today will be Davis Diaz (Vanderbilt) and Ryan Lasko (Rutgers). Diaz is a new arrival and will look to implement his hitting into the lineup. Lasko is one of the best college baseball players in the country and is due for some big at-bats Saturday night.
