Brewster, M.A. – The Brewster Whitecaps will go for five straight victories Thursday night at home against the Orleans Firebirds, with the first pitch coming at 5 pm.

It has been a wacky and wild season for the Brewster Whitecaps. The Whitecap’s season has been a mix of hot and cold streaks; right now, the Whitecaps are hot.

The strong pitching for the Whitecaps has helped this team catch the hot streak. Liam Simon (Notre Dame) will be on the mound today to start the game.

At Notre Dame, Simon owned a 4.99 ERA and struck out 56 batters in 30.2 innings.

The Players to watch for the Whitecaps will be Liam Simon (Notre Dame) and Carson Demartini (Virginia Tech). Simon will look to continue his success from Notre Dame. Demartini, who was in a slump at the plate, homered last night, hoping that would get him out of the slump.
